AI your firm can stand behind.
Your people are already using AI, with or without a policy. We find out what is in use, set what it can reach, put governance around it, and build it into your work with a person reviewing the result.
AI runs across everything we do.
AI isn't a separate project or a fourth pillar. It touches the systems you run, the obligations you carry and the work you do, so we govern it in all three.
In your technology
AI tools see what your tenant lets them see. We set that access before Copilot or any other tool is switched on.
Copilot and Microsoft 365 →In your compliance
A staff AI use policy your principals adopt, and the records that show AI-assisted work is supervised.
Staff AI use →In your workflows
AI-assisted steps in matter work run within limits your policy sets, and a person reviews the result.
AI in your workflows →AI governance, one stage at a time.
Each stage stands on its own. You decide whether to go further once you have seen the result.
- AI Risk Snapshot. Free, about ten minutes. It scores your firm across six areas and gives you a readiness band straight away.
- Priority Gap Report. Send us your results and we set out where your firm is most exposed and what to address first, usually within two business days, with a fixed-fee quote for the next stage.
- AI Risk Review. We test your answers against evidence: your policies and records, your Microsoft 365 settings, the AI tools your people actually use, and a short anonymous staff questionnaire. The report says which findings were confirmed from evidence and which rest on what you told us.
- AI Governance Design. The Review's findings turned into the framework, policies and processes your firm will run, including an AI acceptable use policy for your principals to adopt.
- Implementation. The controls put in place, by JurisIT, your own technology provider, or both, scoped separately.
Copilot sees what your tenant lets it see.
Copilot and other AI tools work with whatever they can reach. If permissions, sharing settings and sensitivity labels aren't right, an AI tool can surface information people were never meant to see. We set that access as part of your Microsoft 365 configuration, before rollout, and your staff AI use policy sits on top of it.
Copilot for legal: a briefing for principals →Microsoft 365 →
AI in your workflows, with a person at the front.
Practice intelligence pulls what you need from years of past matters: how similar matters ran, the precedents used and the facts that matter. AI-assisted steps help with document work and matter tasks. Each runs inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant, within limits your policy sets, and a person reviews the output before it is relied on.
How we govern AI.
- Only tools your principals have approved, for the uses they have approved.
- Client information kept within your Microsoft 365 tenant wherever the tool allows.
- A person reviews AI-assisted output before it is relied on, and the review is recorded.
- Staff acknowledge the policy, and again whenever it changes.
- Changes to AI access go through the same change control as the rest of your tenant.
Frequently asked questions
-
No. It isn't another app to buy. We govern the AI tools your firm uses or chooses, and build AI-assisted work inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant.
-
No. Most firms are better off approving the tools that are safe for their work, setting what information can go into them, and recording how output is reviewed. A ban that people work around leaves you with no record at all.
-
A person, every time it matters. AI-assisted output is reviewed before it's relied on, and the review is recorded on the matter. Responsibility for the legal work stays with your lawyers.
